Global Warming
Scientist has been warning about global warming for decades. But it is too late to stop. And we do not know what peril is waiting for us. But one thing is quite clear: if we cannot lessen global Warming, once the earth becomes a boiling pan having no sign of life. So, we must know what Global Warming is and how we can lessen it.
Global Warming means the rise in the average temperature of the earth’s climate system and its related effects. We have a false notion about global Warming. We think that we, human beings, are only responsible for Global Warming. But there are some natural causes behind it. For instance, a single volcanic eruption releases a huge amount of carbon dioxide and ash into the atmosphere. But mainly we are responsible for Global Warming.
We are cutting down trees at random. The rainforest is being destroyed recklessly. Again, we are burning fossil fuels. Thus, we are producing more carbon dioxide. We are using refrigerators, detergent powders, and washing liquids. All these produce CFC Gas.
However, due to
Global Warming the ice caps are melting. As a result, the sea level is increasing. Within a few decades, many parts of the world will go underwater. Already the weather pattern has changed. Nature has become furious. Cyclones like Ila and Sidr visit us frequently. The northern part of the country becomes drier. The southern part is being engulfed by salinity. So, it is high time for us to work wisely to lessen global Warming. We will emphasize making the environment green which will lessen global Warming.
